The Egyptian Experience against Covid-19

Prof. Dr. Mohamed A. Tag Eldin

  • Professor Dr. Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din was the Egyptian Minister of Health from March 2002 to December 2005. Prior to that, he was the vice president and president of Ain Shams University for four years and one year, respectively. 

  • He holds a Bachelor's Degree in medicine, two diplomas in internal medicine and pulmonology diseases and MD from Ain Shams University. 

  • He is a professor and consultant of pulmonology. 

  • Prof. Dr. Awad Tag El-Din is also the President of the Egyptian Association for Chest Diseases and Tuberculosis.

  • Recently, prof. Dr. Awad Tag El-Din is appointed as a consultant to the President of the Republic for health and prevention affairs.
