  • I am graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Ain shams University with an M.B.; B.Ch with Very Good with Honorsgrade in December 1990. At the same University, I completed my M.Sc. Degree in Basic Science (Histology and Cell Biology) with Very Good grade in May 1996, then completed my MD Degree in Basic Science (Histology and Cell Biology) in April 2001.

  • I worked as an Intern at Ain Shams University Hospitals from 1/3/1991 until 28/2/1992, then Resident in Anaesthesia Department Faculty of Medicine Ain Shams University Hospitals from 8/11/1992 until 30/11/1993. In Histology and Cell Biology Department Faculty of Medicine Ain Shams University, I started working as a teaching Assistant as of1/12/1993, then worked as Assistant Lecturer as of 15/9/1996, then Lecturer as of31/12/2001, then Assistant Professor as of15/1/2007, and finally Professor in Histology and Cell Biology Department Faculty of Medicine Ain Shams University as of 25/6/2012 till date.

  • I am a FAIMER Fellow in 2020. I am qualified in teaching Histology and Cell Biology course lectures, small group discussions and labs. Also, I am qualified in preparing, marking, and evaluating MCQ, essay, oral, and lab examinations for both undergraduate and postgraduate medical, dentistry and pharmaceutical students.

  • I shared in the formation of Histology and Cell Biology department books and module books.

  • I have Computer Skills particularly in preparing PowerPoint presentations and study guides for education. In addition to that, I participated in supervising and evaluating researches performed by both undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.

  • I have conducted several researches and studies in Histology and Cell Biology and published them in scientific national and international Journals.

  • I have conducted researches and made YouTube videos in education regarding game-based learning. I participated in several courses in Kahoot! (Game-based learning platform) and I am Kahoot! certified. Added to that, I attended online courses certified from Harvard Medical School and participated in several online courses through The Open University. I participated and certified from many online virtual distance Seminars, Webinars and Workshops. 

  • Also, I attended plenty of Conferences, Workshops, Seminars, Educational courses, and Discussions of Theses.

  • I am a Reviewer in the Egyptian Journal of Histology and other journals.

  • I am interested in reading, education, research work, computing, walking, and listening to music.
